Finally. I was waiting for this for a long time.

There is a way to stop junk mail in Canada: www.reddotcampaign.ca

  • Print and display a sign
  • Print and display a poster
  • Spread the word...

The site is a bit disorganized, action items and links to the printable sign are on the front page only. The poster is mentioned and linked toward the end of the FAQ.

Also, look at the Do Not Contact Service.
